Who are we?
We are the Saleem sisters. We founded Adventures in STEAM to allow young learners to explore the world outside of their classrooms. We love learning and collaborating with one another to create custom lesson plans for each of our camps!
AMARA SALEEM
Co-Founder
Amara is a sophomore at Georgetown University studying Global Health. At school, Amara is a biostatistics research assistant, a board member of her school's Muslim Students' Association, and a volunteer with local nonprofits. She started this organization because she is passionate about inspiring enthusiasm for the sciences!
ZARA SALEEM
Co-Founder
Zara is a freshman at the University of Michigan studying Movement Science and Kinesiology. At school, Zara volunteers with refugee children, is involved with intramural soccer, and is a board member of the Pakistani Student Association. Zara started Adventures in STEAM because she is passionate about science and education!
SARINA SALEEM
Co-Founder
Sarina is a junior at Metea Valley High School. She loves to play tennis, compete on the MVHS robotics team, build circuits, and program. She is excited to be a part of the Adventures in STEAM team because she is passionate about science and engineering!
